Workplace Learning Programs for High School and University Students
In August of this year, APT Resources & Services together with partner companies Digital Cable Systems SA and AKTA Telecom SA present you a new accomplishment in developing support activities for students in Romania by starting the implementation of the “WORKPLACE LEARNING PROGRAMS FOR HIGH SCHOOL AND UNIVERSITY STUDENTS” The project is co-funded by the European Social Fund through the Human Capital Operational Program 2014-2020; MySmis Project ID / Code: 108247.
The main objective of the project is to increase the employability of high school students and university students from North-East region (Iasi, Botosani), South-Muntenia region (Calarasi, Arges, Prahova) and South East region (Galaţi, Vrancea) by enrolling 200 high school students and 100 university students from technical, telecommunication and commercial fields in the workplace learning programs.
To achieve this goal, it was necessary to set the following secondary objectives:
- Developing the social partnership between the entities and educational institutions involved in obtaining internships
- Developing skills and key competencies in order to maintain competitiveness of future employees on the labor market
- Developing the specific professional skills of students in the telecommunication, technical and commercial fields
For the their activity within the internship, students will receive a grant of 400 lei / person.
The results of the project will be tangible and measurable:
- At least 10 signed practice partnerships
- An information campaign aimed to engage the target group into the project
- 300 signed practice conventions
- A tool for testing the skills required for insertion into the labor market will be applied to the target group
- 300 individual counseling reports on professional development
- 300 student internship notebooks
- 300 - Certificates / Portfolios of Practice
- 300 methodological tools of tutors
- 300 project themes suitable for the specialization of each student
- Organizing a competition for the selection and award of the best intern students
- 144 prizes awarded
- 2 workshops organized with our own team to analyze intermediate results
- 1 report analysis published online
With a total value of 2,223,106.95 lei, of which the non-reimbursable financial assistance is 2,111,951.58 lei, the project started on 1 August 2018 and will be implemented over the course of 24 months.
